During this day: one traffic stop.

8:52 a.m. – Report that a fire from the night before had reignited.

9:53 a.m. – Report of a vehicle accident on OK-11, east of OK-35. No one was pinned but there was believed to be a female with a broken wrist. Medic took the patient to Bass Hospital in Enid.

10:50 a.m. – Caller advised they think there was an intruder in their home in the 100 block of 6th Street. Advised they were taking a shower and heard two loud noises. Officer en route. Officer advised all was okay.

4:20 p.m. – Report of a fire on north Trail. Fire was put out and all back at their stations.

6:34 p.m. – Caller wanted to speak to an officer about vandalism done to his truck at Cherokee High School and there have been multiple other incidents in the past.

7:15 a.m. – Report of copper theft on OK-58.

8:51 a.m. – Report that a fire on N. Trail had reignited.

8:53 a.m. – Caller wanted to report stolen propane taken from Paradise Lane.

1:15 p.m. – Woods County advised that juveniles from Fairview may be in the area. Last seen on County Road 470 and Harmon.

4:07 p.m. – Report of a power line down and sparking on OK-45 and County Road 700.

4:15 p.m. – Report of a power line down on 1st Street and Hinkley.

Thursday, October 31, 2024

During this day: three traffic stops.

8:33 a.m. – Caller advised she had hit the stop sign at the junction of OK-58 and US-64. No injuries or airbags deployed. Just wanted to let them know.

2:51 p.m. – Medic needed in the 200 block of 6th Street. Medic took the patient to St. Mary’s Hospital in Enid.

5:10 p.m. – Medic needed in the 600 block of Kingman for a 71-year-old female with trouble breathing. Medic took the patient to Bass Hospital in Enid.

6:03 p.m. – Caller advised her son hit another vehicle at 6th Street and Walnut, no injuries. Just needed the police. Advised OHP and deputy.

8:22 p.m. – Caller requested a deputy in the 400 block of 5th Street. Advised juveniles were on his property and when he told them to leave, they threw rocks at his house. No contact was made but deputy advised he would stay in the area for a while.

Friday, November 1, 2024

During this day: three traffic stops.

6:03 a.m. – Caller advised she just saw two kids waving sticks behind the senior center in Carmen, then saw movement inside the building. She said she wasn’t certain whether the building was already open or what the kids were doing, if they had entered the building. Deputy en route. Deputy advised the individual was located and stated he jogs in the morning and carries a stick and it may have been him. Deputy advised all was okay.

11:24 a.m. – Medic needed at James Crabtree Correctional Center for a 79-year-old male having trouble breathing. Medic took the patient to Bass Hospital in Enid.

12:10 p.m. – Caller reported her neighbors’ dog got into her back yard and killed her cat. She requested an officer.

12:14 p.m. – Caller advised of a white Ford Ranger with a stolen propane tank in the back. Advised the driver was a white 60-year-old male headed towards Jet. Caller advised who the male was by name and advised they had reported the stolen propane taken. Deputy was giving the information.

12:36 p.m. – Report of a reckless driver in a Dodge Journey. Advised they passed her on the bridge on OK-11 and then they brake-checked her. Advised the Dodge is eastbound on OK-11. Advised OHP.

5:18 p.m. – Caller advised that north of the ag farmhouse were seven or eight dogs that were loose and chasing the livestock and students, and one of them was bitten by the dogs. The ag instructor was there and advised there is over $13,0000 dollars’ worth of livestock at this farm and he didn’t need to speak to the deputy, he wanted to speak to the dog's owner. Deputy advised.

11:17 p.m. – Caller reported a truck had dumped tree limbs on County Road 580, about three-quarters of a mile from his house. Advised it was a green Ford truck, pulling a trailer. Deputy made contact. They advised they hadn’t been doing any dumping of tree limbs or other objects.

7:45 a.m. – Caller advised of a Husky running around in the 800 block of Grand. Officer unable to locate the dog.

Sunday, November 3, 2024

During this day: one controlled burn.

4:24 p.m. – Report of a tank battery on fire in Woods County.

11:27 p.m. – Medic needed in the 600 block of Myrtle for a 37-year-old male possibly having a heart attack. Medic with patient en route to Bass Hospital in Enid.
