Ladybugs advance to regionals with 55-24 win over Chisholm

The Alva Ladybugs routed the Chisholm Lady Longhorns Saturday, Feb. 17, to move into the winners bracket of regionals. The Ladybugs dominated with a lopsided final score of 55-24.

Alva quickly took control of the game, played at Alva High School, putting ten unanswered points on the scoreboard. Chisholm managed only four points in the first quarter while the Ladybugs scored 17.

The Lady Longhorns were held to four points again in the second quarter. Alva led 31-8 at halftime.
