The Northwestern Foundation & Alumni Association announces the appointment of Michelle Shelite as its relationship manager.
A 1993 Northwestern graduate, Shelite begins her new role after working as a coach and teacher in Oklahoma and Kansas. She most recently served as principal for Freedom Public Schools.
As the relationship manager, Shelite is responsible for the development, marketing and management of the Northwestern Foundation & Alumni Association donor relations and stewardship program. She will foster donors' relationships and expectations after they have invested in Northwestern's students and the university.
"We are excited to have Michelle on our team," said Skeeter Bird, CEO, Northwestern Foundation & Alumni Association. "We believe her personal connections to our community and her positive spirit will lead to superb performance in her new role as Relationship Manager."
Shelite holds a Bachelors of Education from Northwestern, a Masters in Educational Leadership Studies from OSU and a Masters in Sports Science from United States Sports Academy
