The annual Halloween Spook Parade in downtown Alva will be held after school on Tuesday, Oct. 31. After students enjoy their school festivities, they can gather at 3 p.m. in front of the Alva Fire Department.
At 3:15 p.m. a parade of ghouls, witches and princesses will set off around the south side of the downtown square, ending up at the courthouse stage, located on the west end of the courthouse. Winners in several divisions will be announced with prizes handed out.
Then everyone will be head out to make the rounds of local businesses who will be handing out candy and other treats downtown.
The Trunk-N-Treat has been rescheduled from today, Oct. 29, to Tuesday, Oct. 31, due to the cold weather. It will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. along College Ave.
