BARTLESVILLE, Okla. – Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Golf concluded their second invitational of the season this fall in the Central Regional Preview hosted by Rogers State. The Rangers placed 16th overall with a final total of 639 (319-320). The two-day total of 639 sets a new program record for two-day team score for the Rangers. The 319 is the second-lowest team individual score with the 320 the third lowest.
The Rangers were led by Agathe Lacoste with a consistent total of 79 in each two rounds for a total of 158. This was tied for 48th overall in the match. A. Lacoste finished with 21 pars and two birdies in the tournament.
Tess Linden was second for the Rangers just one score behind A. Lacoste with a 159. Linden finished with a 79 in Round 1 and an 80 in the second. She concluded the invitational with 16 pars and three birdies.
Third for the Rangers was Romane Lacoste with a total of 160 between the two rounds for the Central Region Preview. R. Lacoste had 20 pars, which was second on the Rangers along with two birdies.
Addison Furtick was tied for 75th overall after improving by six shots in Round 2 and finishing the second round with a 79. She totaled 17 pars and one birdie in the tournament.
Madison Kerr was tied for 80th overall in the tournament after shooting a 166 and improving by four in Round 2 for a final of 82. Kerr totaled 17 pars and one birdie through the two rounds.
Overall in the tournament, Central Missouri won with a score of 579 (290-289) in the invitational. The individual winner was Mia Rallo of Central Missouri along with Allie Bianchi tying for first with a total of 142.
The Rangers will be back on the road Oct. 2-3 at the Golf Club of Edmond hosted by Central Oklahoma.
