• We live in a great place

I brag about where I live to lots of people. I tell people who will listen and a lot who just don’t listen at all, how great of a place we live in. Not just a town or a community, but a part of a state or in our case, part of the tristate region. This past week we saw once again that there aren’t any better people anywhere than we have here.

This past week, Laverne lost a student in a tragic vehicle accident. The fourth-grader’s funeral was Saturday. There are places where you don’t know who your neighbor is. Out here you know most everyone within 30-40 miles, and sometimes more. This week Lav...
