HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Golf concluded their 2023 season after the Great American Conference tournament. The Rangers placed eighth in the tournament finishing with a score of 1027 (355-339-333).
The Rangers were led by Madison Masch finishing with a score of 248 having her lowest round be an 80. Masch finished with a team high 27 shots on par and one birdie between the three rounds.
Jalen Castle was second on the team placing 35th overall in the tournament finishing with her lowest round score 77 after improving each round closing the GAC Championship with a 258. Castle finished with 20 shots on par along with three birdies throughout the duration.
Tied for the 36th in the tournament was Madison Kerr finishing with a 259 after her best score in round two with an 82. Kerr finished with shooting one birdie along with 19 shots on par.
Angela Egger finished 39th overall in the invitational with a score of 262 with her best round finishing with an 84 coming in round two. Egger finished with 15 shots on par and one birdie.
Finishing in 42nd overall in the tournament was Samantha Friday with a score of 297 after a best round of 98. Friday finished with seven shots on par during the tournament.
The overall conference winner for the 2022-2023 Great American Conference Tournament was Henderson State placing first with a final total of 886. The Reddies had the individual winner as well in Lily Nelson taking first with a final score of 210 in the tournament.
