A lot goes on at NWTC
Local fire departments participated in a hazardous materials operations class at Northwest Technology Center, Alva Campus. Firefighters from Alva, Dacoma, Cleo, Harrah, Isabella, Waynoka and Amorita-Byron participated to learn these important skills. The class was coordinated by the Business and Industry Services team at Northwest Technology Center.

Bottom photo: Northwest Technology Center BioMed 1 students from the Alva Campus performed well at the recent State HOSA Contest. Allison Ruwalt placed third in Clinical Specialty and the group of Ashlyn Whitely, Carly Argo, Carson Schanbacher and Morgan Heath placed first in Health Education. The Health Education Team qualified to compete in June at the National HOSA Contest in Dallas.
