Despite having a short agenda, the commissioners of Alfalfa County spent a fair amount of time not only approving their large stack of regular business items (M&O payment warrants, blanket purchase orders, previous meeting minutes) but opening and reviewing six-month bids.
Mike Roach, Jay Hague and Marvin Woodall voted to accept them but awarded nothing pending further study. The three men chose the two-year payment option for the FY 22-23 ACCO-SIF agreement resolution for Alfalfa County and then approved County Clerk Laneta Schwerdtfeger to go for bids for the demolition of a building in Cherokee. That structure is located at lots 1 and 2, and N 10' of 3, Block 3, Garber Addition (the old hospital on Grand Street).
