Employers seeking employees have an opportunity to go right to the source by attending the spring 2022 Career and Internship Fair at Northwestern Oklahoma State University-Alva on Monday, April 11, in the Student Center Ballroom from 10 a.m. to noon.
Northwestern students, as well as any job seekers, are welcome to attend the fair and should be prepared to provide copies of resumes and cover letters.
Organizations currently attending are Air Force Officer Accessions, Amarillo Police Department, AMP Smart, Banc Central, City Year, Clean Harbors, Cleveland Area Hospital, Core Civic, DFW Airport Police Department, Grand Lake Mental Health Center, Inc., Integris Health, KanEquip Inc., Marian University Accelerated Nursing Programs, Marine Corps Officer Program – Oklahoma, NorthCare, Northwestern Oklahoma State University Graduate Studies, Oklahoma Department of Human Services, Project Transformation Oklahoma, Seaboard Foods, Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Sumner County Hospital District No. 1, The Love Station Inc., Universal Health Services of Delaware Inc., University of Oklahoma College of Law, Walmart Stores and Clubs and Youth and Family Services of North Central Oklahoma.
Taylor Wilson, director of counseling and career services, also encourages job seekers to dress well and to stop by her office in Ryerson Hall 209 if they need any help prior to the fair. She also may be reached at tawilson@nwosu.edu.
Any student needing a professional headshot has the option to make an appointment with University Relations. If the photo is needed by a particular deadline the appointment should be made at least one week prior to that deadline. Each photo selected is $5 and will receive light editing.
