Listen for hauntingly spooky music at Kiowa’s Fall Fest Sunday, October 31 on Halloween. Downtown will be filled with little ones and some adults in scary, funny, ugly and adorable costumes.
You can watch or join in lots of unique games. Costume and carved/decorated pumpkin judging is at 2:30 p.m. by the post office. Check out the street vendors and local businesses that are open.
A favorite competition at Fall Fest is the smoked meat contest. The guys and gals have as much fun braggin’ as they do cookin’. The meat is judged at 4 p.m. The public is invited to come downtown again at 5 p.m. to fill a plate and enjoy the delicious BBQ they’ve been smelling all afternoon.
