Klines celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary

On Saturday, July 17, 2021, Darrell and Ann Kline will celebrate 50 years of marriage.

Darrell and Ann exchanged their vows on July 17, 1971, at First United Methodist Church in Alva, Oklahoma. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Harold D. Leveridge and witnessed by many special family members and friends.

Darrell and Ann have been blessed with two sons and five wonderful grandchildren, Jesse (Carrington and Taylor) and Scott and Lavonda (Wesley, Ayden and Emberly) all of Alva.

Darrell co-founded Northwest Electric in 1974 and has spent nearly 50 years in the electrical contracting business. Northwest Electric saw both of Darrell and Ann's sons work for the business and learn the electrical trade, it also has had many special and talented employees throughout the years and will continue its presence in Alva for the future with son, Scott, if Darrell ever decides to give up the reins.

Ann has worked for the Woods County Treasurer's Office, is the secretary and bookkeeper for Northwest Electric, a homemaker, and an amazing grandmother and caretaker of her grandchildren.

The couple are long standing members of the First United Methodist Church of Alva, they enjoy traveling on their Harley Davidson motorcycle, many years of fellowship with "Friends of Fred," acting/supporting the Alva Community Theatre, Inc. (ACT I), and helping raise their grandchildren.

Please join in celebrating this momentous anniversary by showering them with cards, (903 7th Street, Alva, OK 73717) texts, or phone calls of celebration.
