Balzer was transported by Perryton EMS to Ochiltree General Hospital in Perryton, Texas, then later transferred to Northwestern Texas Hospital in Amarillo where he was admitted in stable condition with internal trunk and arm injuries.
A passenger in Balzer’s vehicle, Hijuana J. Balzer, 75, was transported by Perryton EMS to Ochiltree General Hospital in Perryton, Texas. She was later transferred to Northwestern Texas Hospital in Amarillo where she was admitted in stable condition with internal trunk injuries.
Neither driver was wearing a seatbelt although the passenger was. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
