Quiet week in Alfalfa County

The commissioners meeting in Alfalfa County was pretty routine this past Monday. Jay Hague, Stan Tucker and Marvin Woodall quickly approved the previous meeting minutes, maintenance and operation warrants for payment, and blanket purchase orders. There were no road-crossing permits for the week.

The trio moved on to sign off on a few other items: the bridge inspection invoices and reports for conference for all three districts garnered approval, followed by a request to change District 3 first deputy to Nate Ross and add him as requisitioning officer. They also approved an inter-local governmental agreement between Alfalfa County and towns/cities/schools for FY 2020-2021; the Nescatunga Responders' new appointment of Keitha Dale as chairperson and Dennis Oliphant as the association's treasurer (Rex Sunderland retired); and changed the Class A officer's meetings back to quarterly.

Lastly, a few funds transferred received approval. Those were a $14,000 transfer from 1321-3-8214-2005 M&O to 1321-3-8214-4110 Capital Outlay for Helena Rescue, a $2,500 transfer from 1321-3-8212-2005 M&O to 1321-3-8212-4110 Capital Outlay for Aline Responders, and a $9,000 transfer from 1321-3-8211-2005 M&O to 1321-3-8211-4110 Capital Outlay for Carmen Responders.
