Alfalfa County to go out for bid on ambulance

Monday morning's commissioner meeting in Alfalfa County had an extensive amount of paperwork for officials to sign. Jay Hague, Stan Tucker, and Marvin Woodall spent the better portion of the meeting signing off on maintenance and operation payment warrants and blanket purchase orders. Minutes from last week's meeting were approved too.

With no road-crossing permits, the men moved on to talk about a burn ban. Since the heavy rain to the area over the weekend, they decided that implementing a burn ban was unnecessary.

Next, three new personal services accounts were put into place. They were Cash B Personal Services (1226-2-0400-1110), Enhanced 911 Cash Personal Services (1201-2-3600-1110), and 911 Cash Sales Tax Personal Services (1332-2-3600-1110).

The items that followed were approved quickly: Commissioners signed off on the county clerk to go out for bid for Alfalfa County a Type III Ambulance for the Ambulance District, a $9,000 fund transfer from Goltry Rescue M&O (1321-3-8215-2005) to Goltry Rescue Capital Outlay (1321-3-8215-4110) for purchases, a $40,000 transfer from ST 911 M&O (1332-2-3600-2005) to ST 911 Personal Services (1332-2-3600-1110) for payroll, and lastly, a $30,000 fund transfer from Fairgrounds M&O (1310-4-8048-2005) to Fairgrounds Personal Services (1310-4-8048-2005) for payroll for Tyler Mead.
