In her superintendent's report, Dr. Croft said Burlington began their distance learning plan April 6. She said it's going well with every teacher coming up with their own teaching plan they felt would be best for their students. The superintendent complimented the teachers, librarian and staff for doing a “fantastic job.” She also complimented the cafeteria workers on the good job they are doing.
Dr. Croft said that graduation plans are not yet finalized. She is working with the seniors to get their input so their commencement will be special since the end of their year has been tumultuous. It will mostly likely be outdoors, she told the Newsgram. She said, “The staff, parents and community have done an excellent job on staying safe and helping to keep our school safe for those that must be here.”
