Three charged with selling alcohol to underage informant

Local law enforcement periodically checks that businesses in the county are complying with the age limits on selling alcohol. Three people have been charged with selling alcohol to a minor on Oct. 29 in Woods County.

April Danielle Eyner, 18, of Cherokee; Kimberly Celeste Alley, 22, of Alva; and John Russell Cole, 72, of Waynoka, have each been charged with furnishing alcoholic beverage to a person under 21. This crime is punishable by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding one year or by a fine not exceeding $500, or both such fine and imprisonment.

Eyner allegedly sold a 4-pack of Bud Light beer to an underage informant (age 19) at Shepherd’s Convenience Store in Alva.

Alley is accused of furnishing an 8-pack of Bud Light beer to the 19-year-old informant at Ampride Convenience Store in Alva.

Cole is charged with selling a bottle of Fireball Whiskey to the underage informant at Cimarron Wine and Spirits Store in Waynoka.
