During this day there were seven traffic stops and one controlled burn.

7:06 a.m. – Caller advised a vehicle had been in his bar and was now in the culvert. Advised deputy.

Wednesday, June 5, 2019

During this day there were six traffic stops, one controlled burn and one report of cattle out.

2:12 a.m. – Caller advised her truck alarm was going off and she was able to shut it off with the keyless remote. She didn't see anyone out there. But she wanted it documented. Advised she didn't need an officer right now. Dispatch advised her to look around the vehicle in the morning and call back if anything wasn't right. 2:18 a.m. She called back and said the alarm went off again and she went out on the porch and didn't see anyone or anything.

1:26 p.m. – Caller advised of a break-in at the Timberlake pool in Jet.

4:28 p.m. – Advised of a person trespassing at the crystal dig area.

7:22 p.m. – Caller advised of a male in a white pickup trying to run her off the road and possibly going to assault her. Deputy advised.

Thursday, June 6, 2019

During this day there was one traffic stop, one report of cattle out and one controlled burn.

9:53 a.m. – Report of water over the roadway at County Road 710 and Comanche.

12:17 p.m. – Report of water over the road at the junction of state highways 45 and 58.

1:20 p.m. – Report of a reckless driver in a white pickup. Advised the driver was all over the road.

1:41 p.m. – Person came in the office to report a domestic assault. Medic was needed to check the victim out.

3:20 p.m. – Caller advised there was smoke coming from the kitchen and needed the fire department. Advised everyone was out of the house.

7:03 p.m. – Caller advised there was a door slamming and screaming in the apartment below. Not yelling for help, just scream. Deputy advised everything was okay.

9:29 p.m. – Medic needed a man who has hit cattle. One calf went over the hood. The others scattered all over the road. Medic en route. Deputy advised he would put the cow down.

During this day there were three controlled burns and one traffic stop.

6:17 p.m. – Report of a gas leak. Caller advised the neighbor was mowing and hit a pipe where the meter used to be. ONG was contacted.

9:08 p.m. – Caller wanted an officer. Advised FedEx left her package somewhere on her street but not at her house and she didn't know where it was. She wanted an officer to help look. She advised she feels funny going onto other people's property. She called back and advised she had found her package.

During this day there were two controlled burns.

2:41 a.m. – Alarm company called about alarm at the Carmen Jiffy Trip. Couldn't get ahold of the keyholder. While on the phone with the deputy, the alarm company advised of two more alarms going off. Advised it was the motion alarm by the front door and a glass breakage alarm. Deputy advised he was gathering information and making a report.

9:15 a.m. – Report of a stolen vehicle. He had been taken from the reporting party's place of business the night before and found at a residence east of Cherokee. Advised there was some damage and he wanted to make a report.

9:39 a.m. – Caller advised he drove through some water on County Road 630 and his pickup is now in a big hole. No ambulance needed and his grandson was coming to pull him out.

4:57 p.m. – Alarm going off in Jet. Advised the greenhouse glass was broken. Tried to contact the keyholder; no answer. Neighbor advised no one lives there. It must have been a false alarm.

8:15 p.m. – Caller advised someone coming onto their property and opening pasture gates on County Road 720. Caller didn't want the cattle to get out and him be responsible in case someone hit them.

9:01 p.m. – Caller wanted an officer in the 400 block of Main. Caller stated she has guardianship of her grandkids and her grandson is refusing to go with her and the mother is not helping the situation. Advised deputy. He advised the mother was yelling. He advised her to go back in the house or she would be arrested for disturbing the peace.

9:30 p.m. – Caller advised of a dead deer in the road on State Highway 8.

During this day there was one controlled burn.

7:27 a.m. – Caller advised of a tank battery on fire at a location on Grady between County Road 590 and 600. May have been lightning. Cherokee Fire Department put out the fire.

9:35 a.m. – Possible transformer fire/problem on the substation east of Nash.

10:26 a.m. – Caller advised a building was broken into on State Highway 11. The family was contacted. They advised the owner had passed away a year ago and they have no idea who is responsible for it.

8:20 a.m. – Caller advised he thinks someone has been staying in his property that was supposed to be abandoned and is using electricity. He was going to look at the property and wanted a deputy to contact him.
