TOPEKA, Kan. – Preston Ewing led the Northwestern Oklahoma State University to a Top 5 finish Tuesday at the Washburn Invitational at the Topeka Country Club in Topeka, Kansas.
Entering Tuesday’s final round in seventh after posting scores of 75 and 73 on Monday, Ewing fired a 69 to move up four spots on the leaderboard to finish tied for third place, one shot out of second place, to start the spring season strong. Ewing was one of four golfers to fire a tournament-low round of 69, which also tied him for the fourth lowest round in NWOSU program history.
