Ranger Football Golf Tournament set for May 31–June 1

ALVA, Okla. –The 2019 version of the Ranger Football Golf Tournament has been set, Northwestern Oklahoma State University head football coach Matt Walter announced on Monday.

The always popular early summer event will take place June 1 at the Alva Golf and Country Club.

There will also be a hog roast and benefit auction the night before the tournament, May 31, at the AGCC. The all-you-can-eat hog roast, courtesy of the Rowdy Rangers, will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the auction at 7.

On Saturday, there will be two tournament flights beginning at 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The tournament format will be a four-man, best ball, 18-hole scramble. Registration will begin 30 minutes prior to start time of each flight.

Entry fee for the tournament is $400 per team or $100 per individual player. Included in the entry fee is green fee and cart, the Friday night Hog Roast, Saturday lunch and an NWOSU Adidas Football shirt. Mulligans will be available for $5, as will $5 automatic putts.

“Legacy Tee” options are available for the 2019 Ranger Golf Tournament for $50. The tee will be placed at a tee box, displaying the jersey number and years played at Northwestern. More information about the Legacy Tee and be obtained by contact Coach Walter at mdwalter@nwosu.edu or 580-327-8488.
