WEATHERFORD, OKLA. – The East Central University women's basketball team fell to No. 11 Southwestern Oklahoma State, 91-76, in road Great American Conference action.

First Quarter: 31-26
The teams traded shots for the first minute
A triple by Sr. Tia Williams on the Tigers (14-7, 9-6 GAC) first possession gave them a slight advantage (5-4)
ECU then went on a 5-0 run to earn a 10-4 lead, with 6:10 left in the stanza
The Tigers kept up the pressure and built the lead to 10 (20-10), with 4:36 left
Lead kept around 10 for the next two minutes
The Bulldogs (20-1, 15-0 GAC) then cut the disadvantage to four, with a 6-0 run (26-22), with 1:10 left
ECU pushed the lead back to seven in the final minute
Second Quarter: 9-20 (40-44)
Back-and-forth battle for the first 5:30 minutes (38-32)
SWOSU then went on a 5-0 run to cut the deficit to one (38-37), over the next two minutes
The Bulldogs kept pushing and took their first lead since early in the first quarter (41-40), with 1:34 left in the half
In the final 4:30 minutes SWOSU used a 12-2 run
Third Quarter: 23-27 (63-71)
SWOSU started the half on a 5-0 run to push the lead to nine (49-40), in the first 1:30 minutes
The Bulldogs earned their first double-digit lead (54-43), with 7:35 left on the clock
The Tigers countered with a 7-0 run in the next two minutes (54-50)
ECU kept up the pressure and was able to cut the deficit to two (61-59), with 3:18 left to play in the stanza
SWOSU followed with a 10-4run in the remaining time
Fourth Quarter: 13-20
The Tigers started the stanza on a 4-0 run (71-67) in the first minute
The Bulldogs built the lead back to 10 (79-69), with 7:44 left to play
Game was close throughout the quarter, but SWOSU was able to keep the lead around 10 most of the time
The Bulldogs pulled away in the final three minutes
Largest lead was 15 (91-76)
