The Alva Goldbug Education Foundation awards the 2018 Mini-Grants for Alva Independent School District. These individuals represent a banner year with 22 individual and group mini-grant applications awarded. Individuals are eligible for up to $200 for their classrooms and teacher groups are eligible for up to $500. The Alva Goldbug Education Foundation also thanks Alva Co-op, Garnett Oil Company, Jiffy Trip, Shepherd Oil, Ampride, Lite-n-Nite and Ranger Mart for their support of the Alva district. Look for the designated pumps at these businesses when fueling your vehicles. A percentage of every gallon of gas you purchase at these locations is donated to the foundation for investing in Alva's schools.
