GARDEN CITY, Mo. (AP) — A 19-year-old man is facing multiple charges after injuring law enforcement officers while they were trying to arrest him.
The Cass County Sheriff's office says a Missouri State trooper suffered serious injuries and a sheriff's deputy broke a finger during the arrest Sunday in Garden City.
Jesse Hodges is charged with first-degree assault on a law enforcement officer, fourth-degree assault on a law enforcement officer and two counts of second-degree property damage.
The Kansas City Star reports officers responded to a call that Hodges had damaged a vehicle and broke windows on a home.
