The First Friday Artwalk will be held in downtown Alva tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. At the Graceful Arts Gallery on the south side of the square, visitors may view the Art of the West exhibit featuring Larry Case, Earl Kuhn, Calvin Graybill, Gene Doughtery, Dick Bixler, Mike Wager, Nancy Russell and Paul Bevilacqua. Music will be provided by Jeff McAlpin and David Engle. Refreshments will be served.
Several businesses around the square till be open for shoppers. Gallery VIP, a new gallery and frame shop, will open inside the former All Things Fabulous space on the west side of the square.
The Elegant Toad on the northeast corner of the square will be holding a business dedication event with cake and children’s activities.
Several other shops will be open in the area.
