All Woods County incumbents file with election board

As of 4 p.m. Thursday, all four Woods County incumbents had filed unopposed for re-election. Filing continues until 5 p.m. today.

Filing with the Woods County Election Board on Wednesday were John Smiley, District e Commissioner; David Hamil, District 1 Commissioner; Renetta Benson, Assessor, and David Manning, Treasurer.

The Oklahoma Election Board website shows Democrat U.S. Representative for District 3 Frank Lucas has filed for another term on the Republican ticket. On Thursday Murray Mark Thibodezux of Tulsa filed as a Democrat in opposition.
