Woods County Excise Board approves appropriations for the month

A regular meeting of the Woods County Excise Board was held at 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 17. All members were present including Chris Olson, Bob Sievert and Joe Shirley. County Clerk Shelley Reed also attended.

The following monthly appropriations were unanimously approved.

• District 1 Highway Cash: $154,529.91

• District 2 Highway Cash: $154,573.42

• District 3 Highway Cash: $155,529.93

• District 1 CBRI Fund-105: $7,620.62

• District 2 CBRI Fund-105: $7,620.65

• District 3 CBRI Fund-105: $7,620.65

• Enhanced 911: $15,891.53

• Assessor’s Fee: $1,056

• County Clerk’s Lien Fee: $1,792.75

• County Clerk’s Preservation Fee: $820

• Sheriff’s Revolving Fund: $1,502.20

• Treasurer’s Resale: $1,493.65

• Sheriff’s Commissary: $86.82

• Sheriff’s Service Fee & CHS: $5,855.43

• Mortgage Tax: $115

• Court Clerk Salary: $4,155.34

Two acknowledgments to the board were provided by County Clerk Reed. These included the transfer of appropriations within the general fund from Highway M & O to the Highway Capital Outlay account in the amount of $5,000. The second acknowledgment was the transfer of appropriations to split the CBRI Fund into three accounts, one for each district, totaling $154,448.42. The funds were split as follows: District 1, $43,182.29; District 2, $63,169.24; and District 3, $48,096.89.

Under new business Reed stated that the Center for Local Government Technology sent a letter showing when and where the training will be held this year if any members are interested in going.
