WHAT'S AT STAKE

The playoffs are likely out of reach for Oklahoma State. But a shot at the Big 12 title game and a prestigious bowl are still on the table if the Cowboys win in Ames. Iowa State largely controls its own destiny, but it must win out — and hope West Virginia loses another game — to make it to the league championship.

KEY MATCHUP

Oklahoma State QB Mason Rudolph vs. Iowa State's secondary. Rudolph leads the nation in passing yards per game and points responsible for. But Iowa State's defense has been as good as any in the Big 12 — and its secondary has made plays all year long. The Cyclones have 11 interceptions in 2017, second-best in the league.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Oklahoma State: RB Justice Hill. He leads the Big 12 with 1,064 yards rushing. If the Cowboys can get Hill going early, that'll soften up Iowa State's defense and allow Rudolph to go to work.

Iowa State: WR Allen Lazard. The senior needs just 55 receiving yards to become the second in school history with at least 3,000. Lazard could be in for a big afternoon in his final home game.
