RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. — Meagan Chase was named the Great American Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the final week of the regular season.
It was the first time this season SNU has earned the Offensive Player of the Week, and the third time it has earned a conference weekly honor this year. Chase scored two goals last week including the tying and winning goals against Northwestern Oklahoma State on Saturday. She helped the Storm battle back from a 3-1 deficit to take the win in double-overtime. Her first goal came in the 63rd minute, and she scored the game-winning goal in the 107th minute on an assist from Brianna Evans. The win knocked the Rangers out of contention for the GAC Championships.
