Arkadelphia, Ark. --- The University of Arkansas at Monticello football team was defeated on the road by the Ouachita Baptist Tigers Saturday afternoon by a final score of 55-21

UAM falls to 5-4 (5-4 GAC) overall this season.
OBU improves to 7-2 (7-2 GAC) on the year.
FIRST QUARTER
Arkansas-Monticello struck first in the match-up as Cole Sears connected with Jalen Tolliver for the 19 yard strike to take the early 7-0 lead over the Tigers.
Ouachita countered on the very next drive with a passing touchdown of its own to tie up the game late in the opening quarter.
SECOND QUARTER
OBU took the lead early in the second quarter of play with a 10 yard rushing touchdown, and followed up with a field goal to post a 17-7 advantage over UAM.
The Weevils closed the gap with a 65 yard touchdown as Sears found Tolliver once again to put the score at 17-14.
The Tigers went on to add another field goal as time expired in the half to give the home team the 20-14 edge over UAM.
THIRD QUARTER
Ouachita took control of the third quarter with 14 unanswered points against the Weevils, and despite an 11 yard rushing touchdown by Imani Riley, UAM trailed OBU 34-21 at the end of the period.
FOURTH QUARTER
The Tigers continued to use its second half momentum by scoring 21 total points against UAM, and going on to take the game by a final score of 55-21.

The Weevils will return to action next on Saturday, November 4 as UAM will face Henderson State in Monticello in the final home game of 2017 in what will be senior day for Arkansas-Monticello. Kick-off is slated for 3:00 p.m. inside Cotton Boll Stadium.
