MUSKOGEE, Okla. – Harding senior Mason Banger and junior Ryan Williamson both shot 1-under 70 Tuesday in the final round of the NSU Golf Classic, hosted by Northeastern State at Muskogee Country Club. Their two sub-par rounds helped give Harding its third consecutive 288 team score and finish tied for third among 17 teams in the event.
Harding finished at 864 in the 54-hole event, its fourth-best score in program history and only seven strokes off the school record set last year at the NCAA Regional. Central Oklahoma won the event at 848, and Arkansas Tech was second at 852.
Banger was Harding's top finisher, tying for eighth at even-par 213. Senior Juan Luis Sanchez was also in the top 20, tying for 19th at 4-over 217. Alexander Hughes of Central Oklahoma won the event at 8-under 205.

Facts and Figures
Harding's third-place finish is the best for the Bisons in their five times to participate in the tournament. Harding's previous best finish in the NSU Golf Classic was fifth in 2014.
Banger's top-10 finish was the ninth of his career in 33 events.
Williamson's 221 tied his career-best 54-hole score. His 70 in round three was his career-best round and his first round of par or better as a Bison.
Harding was fourth in the tournament with 41 birdies (Central Oklahoma led with 50).

MacIntosh led Harding with 35 pars, and Banger topped the Bisons and was second in the tournament with 13 birdies.
