On Aug. 29 at 6.30 p.m., the 2017 bowling season will kick off at Cookie’s Bowl & Café. The Tuesday night league is a nice coming together of bowlers from Alva and the surrounding communities. There will be lots of fun and good conversations with old and new friends alike. Come early and enjoy a pre-game meal with friends and family or enjoy a mid-game snack with a refreshing drink from the cafe.
