CLARKSVILLE, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist continued its three-stop tour of Arkansas with a sweep of University of the Ozarks Wednesday, 13-3 and 7-5.
OBU had 28 hits for the doubleheader, getting 15 in the second game while leaving 10 runners stranded.
In the opener, OBU scored four runs in the first inning on an illegal pitch, a wild pitch and RBI singles by Bailee Saye and Bry Flanagan.
OBU added four more in the third on four errors and three hits, including an RBI single by Jill Shipman, who later stole home.
