On Dec. 29, 2015, Woods County District Court granted an emergency order of protection filed by Donna M. Hodgson of Freedom against Robert “Bob” Levi Seivert of Freedom. Throughout 2016 that order was amended three times to continue the protective order. On Jan. 30, 2017, the protective order was dismissed with the vacation of the second, third and fourth amended/continued emergency orders of protection. All costs were also dismissed.
Hodgson, who is a cousin by marriage of Seivert, filed the petition for the protective order following an alleged incident when she accompanied her brother to feed his livestock on Dec. 24. She stated Seivert saw her and “came down to argue and threaten me more.” She stated her brother was not feeling well, and she was there at her brother’s request. She alleges he threatened her if she ever stepped on his property again.
Hodgson described an earlier alleged incident at Camp Houston Country Store on July 28, 2015.
Hodgson told the court her vehicle was parked at the store in July when Seivert parked so close to the driver’s side that she could not get in. She stated that Seivert verbally assaulted her, and his comments made her fear for her safety.
