Collision at intersection

• Three vehicle collision at Walmart

According to police, a driver failed to stop at a red light, which led to a collision at Fourth Street and Oklahoma Boulevard in Alva on Friday, Jan. 20, about noon. Xuhui Kuang, 43, of Fairview was driving a 2016 Chevrolet south on Fourth Street. Patrick Harris, 60, of Alva was westbound on Oklahoma Boulevard in a 2009 Ford F1S. Kuang’s traffic light was red, and Harris’s light was green. Kuang failed to stop and the front left of his vehicle struck the Harris vehicle in the back right fender. K9 Commander Patrick Hawley investigated.

Three-Vehicle Collision

Officer Brian File responded to a report of a three-vehicle accident in the parking lot of Walmart on Monday, Jan. 30, at 8:49 p.m. Damaged were two parked vehicles, a 2005 Chevrolet owned by Monica Hill of Alva, and a 1991 Buick owned by John Clapp of Alva. Both had damage to the front end.

A Walmart customer told Officer File the third vehicle had already left the scene. File looked at security footage of the parking lot and could see a white, possibly one ton, truck with a black flat ed striking both vehicles. It appeared the truck hit both parked vehicles just hard enough to move them a little.
