ALVA – Effective Jan. 1, K. Forell and Associates PLLC announced that it has merged with the accounting firm of ENJ Financial LLC. The goal is to provide clients with expanded services for financial planning and accounting services.
Kindsey Ely, president of ENJ Financial, said she is excited with the opportunity that merging the firms will accomplish. K.Forell and Associates offered a wide range of accounting, consulting and tax services through offices in Alva and Cherokee in Oklahoma, and in Anthony, Kansas. Ely said, "The merger will leverage the expertise of the two firms to create a more convenient and seamless menu of financial services for clients over a larger area.
"Financial planning and the preservation of wealth for both individuals and business owners has become more complicated and almost always involve tax implications," Ely said. "Adding the accounting services provided by K. Forell and Associates will strengthen ENJ's ability to provide our clients with a more comprehensive evaluation of their current and future financial strategy, locally eliminating the need to travel to larger cities for these services.
"Kelly (Forell) has built a successful firm and has served her clients very well. I am pleased they will become a part of the ENJ team."
With this merger, ENJ Financial will employ 12 full-time accountants and support personnel locally.
Due to timing and logistics, the two firms will continue to operate business as usual in each individual location with the same team of professionals at this time.
