Enrollment opens Oct. 18 for Northwestern's spring 2017 session

Enrollment for the spring session at Northwestern Oklahoma State University opens Oct. 18, and students are encouraged to complete the enrollment process as soon as possible to better ensure their choice of classes.

Online class schedules are available at http://www.nwosu.edu/course-schedules. The spring session will begin Jan 9. Spring Commencement will be on Saturday, May 6 at 10:30 a.m.

Enrollment for the spring semester ends Jan. 18.

To enroll for any semester at Northwestern, all first-time freshmen and transfer students first must be admitted to the university, then obtain a class schedule and enrollment form, complete the form with an adviser and obtain the adviser’s signature prior to completing the enrollment process. The enrollment process must be completed in the registrar’s office.

Current students also must enroll through the registrar’s office except for those pre-approved by their advisers to enroll online.

Students admitted to the Graduate School may enroll in person or online using the RangerNet system on the Northwestern web site. Students enrolling in graduate courses for the first time at Northwestern must enroll in person through the Office of Graduate Studies or a registry office.

Regular office hours at the Alva and Woodward campuses are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Administrative office hours at Enid are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.

Payment for spring session classes is due on Jan. 9. Students expecting financial aid funds to cover costs must have an award letter on file in the financial aid office.
