The Alva City Council will address the creation of a joint project plan and tax increment district for the Alva Arena during this month’s meeting Monday night. The list of Woods County felony charges against a Waynoka man grew by four this month, bringing the total to ten. Chad Eric Tune, 19, was charged Dec. 13 with four additional lewd molestation counts. Each is punishable by imprisonment in the custody of the Department of Corrections for not less than 25 years. The latest charges follow additional information received by law enforcement in an interview with one of the two underage female alleged victims. The Alva Police Department reports several minor vehicle accidents occurred during the past weeks. On Nov. 4 at 12:13 p.m. there was a two vehicle collision on College Boulevard south of High Street. Nathan Butler, 21, of Alva was driving a 2008 Chevrolet south on College in the westbound lane. Conner Whitely, 20, of Alva was driving a 2012 Ford Fusion. It's always a challenging game when the Alva Ladybugs and the Fairview Lady Yellowjackets meet. Going into the Friday night game in Alva, neither team had lost.
