  • Letter to Editor

    Oct 30, 2016

Some farmers are so afraid of the Humane Society that they are willing to give up their right to have a say in any future farm regulations. The sad thing is they are willing to give up their children's and all their descendants' right to have a say as well. SQ777 does not “create” the right to farm out of thin air; it takes away the rights of every present and future citizen of Oklahoma to regulate the future of our air, water, food and lan...

    Jim Scribner|Oct 30, 2016

State Question 780 has to do with something I thought should have been done years ago. It is going to make drug possession a misdemeanor instead of a felony. This will help shrink the prison population by not sending a fella with three joints to prison for several years. Sadly, it has no provision to release all offenders already in prison. The first thing about this measure that bothers me is there is no mention of what drugs will be listed as felony or misdemeanors. Maybe I am looking at the...

The Midwest is an ideal location. During the time I worked for Secretary o...
