The Rangers placed fourth overall in the meet with an average time of 26:30 in the 8K. The Rangers had four runners place in the Top 30, all ranging in the 20s. ALVA – Northwestern had their homecoming last Saturday afternoon against Harding University. The Bisons jumped out early with two first quarter touchdowns before closing out a victory over the Rangers. The loss drops Northwestern to 0-6 on the season as Harding improves to 6-0 on the season. In a special noon meeting Monday, the Alva Board of Education accepted a letter of resignation from Superintendent Dr. Tim Argo. His resignation doesn't take effect until June 30, 2024.
