    The Alva Board of Education will hold a regular meeting Monday just a couple of days before classes begin. Teacher in-service days are Monday through Wednesday with classes to start on Thursday.     The Oklahoma Association of Career and Technology Education (OkACTE) presented an increased amount of cash awards for outstanding Oklahoma CareerTech educators at their 51st annual Oklahoma CareerTech Summer Conference.   • Two Waynoka men charged with burglary

    Two Waynoka men have been charged with second degree burglary after the owner of a Woods County farm provided law enforcement with security video. Angel Medrano, 31, of Waynoka, and Tyler Scott Hummer, 30, of Waynoka, have been charged with second degree burglary, a felony. This crime is punishable by imprisonment for two to seven years. The men are scheduled for an initial court appearance on Aug. 14.     TULSA, Okla. (AP) — The chief justice of the Oklahoma Supreme Court is seeking the removal of a state district judge for allegedly neglecting his duties and abusing his power as a judge.     EL RENO, Okla. (AP) — An Oklahoma man is facing a first-degree murder charge after allegedly leaving his 3-year-old son inside a hot truck.
