Hood told the group that Northwest Family Services is in the process of writing grants. They have several funding sources they are working with for those grants since they are a non-profit.     A drug buy set up by an informant on social media has saddled a Freedom man with two felony charges. Jamin Dean Shreeve, 46, of Freedom, is charged with distribution of controlled dangerous substance (methamphetamine) while within 2,000 feet of a school and with violation of Oklahoma statute via computer.     The first order of business at the regular meeting of the Alva Recreation Complex (ARC) board was discussion of and action on financial statements for June 2018. City Manager Joe Don Dunham led the discussion, qualifying that since the fiscal year has yet to be audited, numbers may change a bit. As of June 2018, Alva Recreation complex (ARC) has $719, 503 in revenue, $827,833 expended, $23,676 encumbered to be spent, $124,755 in the bank, and investments of $413,317.     The Peace by Piece quilters held a short meeting led by President Patty Barker. A Quilt of Valor award ceremony was conducted.
