    A Cherokee woman was charged Nov. 22 in an incident that occurred in September. Leslie Jovan McDonald, 45, has been charged with burglary in the first degree, attempted child stealing and child abuse by injury, all felonies. A warrant has been issued for her arrest.     An Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper was notified of a vehicle traveling at high speeds near Jet driven by someone without permission to do so. According to court documents, Trooper Robert Cottrill was told Nov. 19 that the vehicle was an older Jeep with wood panel siding and was traveling south out of Jet.     An Alfalfa County woman is facing additional charges involving child abuse. Heather Jean Sharp, 36, of Goltry was charged with felony child neglect on Nov. 15. On Nov. 22 additional charges were filed in Alfalfa County District Court. Sharp was charged with two counts of enabling child sexual abuse and one count of failure to report child sexual abuse.
