Bill Johnson Correctional Center (BJCC) may be the only Department of Correction facility to allow family members inside the yard to attend a graduation ceremony, according to William Monday, who was the keynote speaker at the BJCC GED graduation exercise on Friday, July 7. OKLAHOMA CITY – A new service launched this week will allow voters to sign up for e-mail or text messages reminding them about upcoming elections in their county, Oklahoma State Election Board Secretary Paul Ziriax said Thursday. An Oklahoma Watch analysis of more than 3,000 horizontal wells shows that more than half of a typical well's projected lifetime oil and gas production will occur during its first three years, when it is taxed at a much lower rate. Belva Jean (Case) Wheeler, 90, passed away peacefully in Louisville, Kentucky, at the Episcopal Church Home with family by her side on July 7, 2017. Belva and her husband Emerson Wheeler were married on January 16, 1946, until his death on May 30, 2006, and were lifetime members of the Alva Friends Church. The last night of the play “Annie Jr.” was all I knew it would be. There were some cast changes Wednesday and Thursday and all did a great job. Friday was Jaylyn’s night to shine.
