    Airport Manager Greg Murray said agreement has been reached with five individuals who have leased newly constructed hangars at the Alva Regional Airport. He said, “We have lease agreements printed and are awaiting signatures on two others.” He also said one individual has expressed interest and will likely provide an answer by the end of the week. This is to replace Principal Shane Feely and his wife Kiley Feely, who was vocal music, band director and librarian at Burlington.     Investigation of a domestic disturbance in Aline led to the arrest of a man on unrelated felony charges. According to court records, on June 1 Alfalfa County Deputy TJ Rockenbach was called to Ash Street in Aline for a domestic situation between a man and woman. Before he arrived dispatch advised the man had left the residence in a white Dodge pickup, driven around the block, parked the truck and was walking back to the residence.     A Cherokee woman reported her vehicle stolen on May 22. According to court documents, Cherokee Assistant Police Chief Ryan McNeil was dispatched to the Cherokee Inn about 11 p.m. He spoke with Christin Michelle Curry who said she was with another woman in a motel room when Charles J. Garner took the keys to her silver 2001 Chevy Blazer. She said he didn’t ask for the keys but just took them from her.     A Cherokee man has been charged with domestic assault and battery after another man was injured. According to court records, on May 27 about 12:24 a.m. Cherokee Police Officer William Irvin was contacted by the Alfalfa County Sheriff’s Department and was told he was needed at 113 W.     At the regular June meeting of Kiowa's City Council, they hired a new city clerk. She is Patricia (Trish) Brewer, wife of Barber County Undersheriff Dusty Brewer. City Administrator Lou Leone said Brewer will officially be appointed by Mayor Brandon Farney at a special council meeting at the end of June.
