    With the help of video surveillance and a posting on social media, the Woods County Sheriff’s Office quickly identified a suspect in an Alva burglary. Bubbles Laundry was burglarized in the early hours of Sunday, Dec. 23. The business suffered extensive damage to change machines and other equipment in addition to the cash taken.     Three people from Freedom died Friday, Jan. 4, when their vehicle hit a tree. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports the victims as the driver Vickie I. Limestall, 55, and two passengers: Marvin L.     An Alva man is facing a felony charge of cruelty to animals. This crime is punishable by a fine of up to $5,000 or imprisonment for up to five years, or both.     An employee at a local fast food restaurant was facing a dilemma. He accepted two $100 bills in payment for two small purchases. The currency turned out to be counterfeit, and company rules required the change he handed out, over $190, to be taken out of his paycheck.
