The Burlington boy's golf team started their season last week. They played at Meadowlake golf course in Enid. This year's four golf team members are Ky Smith, JC Crusinbery, Weston Allen and Zane Willard. This will be Zane Willard's first time competing in golf. Teresa Sims is the kindergarten teacher at Burlington Public School. She has been teaching at Burlington for five years and is finishing her 26th year. Looking into the future, sometimes you don’t know where you’re going. As a senior in high school, this is one of those times when you don’t know where the road goes. All students go a different route after high school. Going to college is an excellent way to get a higher education. Trade or technical schools are a perfect option too. Burlington will celebrate the magic at this year's homecoming. The theme of the homecoming is Disney. All through the week were dress-up days for the students. Pre-K through 6th grade competed in a poster contest related to the homecoming theme. Hallie Hamilton was born in Oklahoma City on Nov. 18, 2004. Her parents are Margo and Paul Hamilton and she has one younger brother named Trace. Hamilton is involved in basketball, student council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and is a National Honor Society member. She enjoys hanging out with friends and playing basketball. Dallas Hunt took the reins of the Burlington boys' basketball team for the 22-23 school year at the beginning of the summer. He chose Burlington because he saw significant potential in the boys' basketball team. Coach Dallas Hunt grew up in Garber, Oklahoma, and graduated from Garber High School in 2015.
