Kessler is in the first grade at Burlington Public Schools, and has won the Champion Barrel Racing title after competing in the Young Gun Rodeo Association. This year Burlington schools started a STEAM program for first through eighth grade. STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, art and math. This program was started to encourage problem solving skills in students through technology, and is a feeder program for robotics. Many mornings before school you will find the Burlington academic team with their buzzers answering questions in preparation for their academic meets. They have attended different meets in the area where they answer academic and trivia questions. Burlington Schools kicked off with a great start to the 2022-23 school year. Classes are in full swing, the students are back to learning, and the calendar is filling up with activities.
