    JEROME PUGMIRE|Aug 9, 2024

PARIS (AP) — Nobody will ever accuse Sifan Hassan of taking the easy route at the Olympics. Heading into the last 150 meters of her 10-day Olympics odyssey that spanned three events and 38 miles (62 kilometers), the Netherlands' runner traded elbows with Tigst Assefa of Ethiopia, and then sprinted by her to win the last track event of the Paris Games. Hassan added gold to the bronze medals she won in the 5,000 and 10,000 meters. "I feel like I am dreaming. At the end, I thought, 'This is just a 100-meter sprint. Come on, Sifan. One more. J...

    JEROME PUGMIRE|Jun 9, 2019

Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel was red with rage at being stripped of a much-needed win at the Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday. So the four-time Formula One world champion took matters into his own hands — literally. After getting out of his car with his helmet still on and stomping back to his garage, Vettel then made his way to the post-race grid. The Montreal crowd watched in amazement as Vettel theatrically grabbed the big No. 1 sign parked in front of race winner Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes car and moved it to where his Ferrari should have b...
