During FFA week, the Waynoka FFA Chapter is very active in the community. It is also a good time to appreciate the great organization and what it does for our country. Waynoka FFA students Rhiata and Rholton Bouziden have been very busy competing at livestock shows. They recently competed in the "Oklahoma State Block and Bridle Winter Bonanza" cattle show. The Waynoka ag shop students have been very productive fabricating different projects for the upcoming trophy auction as well as a few other projects. Xhalin Flores and Titus Delano have been working on an American flag welding project. Teegun Allison and Kamren Newton made a tailgating grill that hooks up to a receiver hitch. The Waynoka FFA Chapter had great success at the Tulsa State Fair. The shop class fixed up an old tractor and placed 1st in the Refurbished Farm Machinery division. Jessica Goucher, Kennedy Zook and Hunter Durkee of the Waynoka FFA attended the third session of alumni camp July 3 to July 6 where they learned different things on becoming a great leader. They learned that your ranking as an officer or teammate does not make you a better leader. They participated in a ropes course called a trust fall in which they had to trust their team and rely on them to catch one another. On June 1, Tayen Redgate, Hunter Durkee and Allison Blocker took a trip south to the EOSC Livestock Judging Camp. Throughout the camp they gave multiple sets over performance bulls, wether dams, and market hogs.
