    Burlington elementary students participated in the Tri-state Music Festival on May 3 in Enid. The elementary concert band received a 2.     Mrs. Kiley Feely took the Burlington elementary music students to the Seiling Music Festival, in Seiling on Friday, April 7. The fourth–sixth grade choir received a 2+ on their performance of "My Lord" and "Peace like a River/Kumbayah." She has 11 students who enjoy spelling and P.E., as well as reading, social studies and music.     Burlington's student council started the mentoring program about four years ago. Being a small school, they thought that it would be a good idea to start this mentoring program to strengthen the students' reading levels and comprehension, and to build a bond between the elementary, junior high and high school students.     Burlington School participated in National Red Ribbon Week on Oct. 24 – Oct. 28. Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in the United States. Students showed support by dressing up all week.
